We’re Just Parents

I wanted to start this blog because I thought it was important. Important for me to have a place to talk about issues that come up from dealing with pregnancy and parenthood while being transgender- and also important to give another voice of what a transgender parent looks like.

I haven’t been entirely sure what to write on here because, well, being a transgender parent looks the same as being a cisgender parent. At least at this age. Colic, late night feedings, growth spurts, teething, all of that stuff- gender doesn’t really effect it.

I’m sure that this will come up more as time goes on- when the baby starts talking, starts communicating, etc. But right now? Being a transgender parent is just being a parent.
